Led the governance stream supporting the sale of a regulated entity, managing a high volume of special board and committee meetings, governance documentation, regulatory notifications, and director transitions. Ensured governance continuity throughout a 12-month transaction process while simultaneously building the governance operating model for the new standalone entity.
Building a governance function from scratch
Built and led a governance and company secretariat function from scratch at a major APRA-regulated institution, creating all governance documentation, recruiting and setting up the team, supporting the recruitment and induction of the board, and standing up the company secretariat function.
Royal Commission response
Led an organisation's response to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, including managing requests for information and witness statements in extraordinarily tight timeframes.
